Taj Mahal - Temples and Tiger Tour

Perceiving the elegant marvel of white marble, the Taj Mahal, with very own eyes, and watching a majestic tiger prowling in a jungle, are indeed very exciting, entertaining, and enthralling. Rajasthan has been a place of historic palaces, forts, temples, quite esoteric in architectural beauty, and also a place of rich traditions and cultures.

Day 01 : Arrival Delhi

On arrival at the Delhi airport meet with our representative, and then transfer to the hotel.
Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.

Day 02 : Delhi - Agra

On early morning transfer for from Delhi to City of Taj Mahal-Agra by train. On reaching Agra station, transfer to Hotel for check-in. After refreshment, proceed for sightseeing of Taj Mahal and Red fort in Agra city.

Day 03: Agra - Bandhavgarh

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Fatehpur Sikri. Later in evening, board train for Umaria railway station which is the nearest on for Bandhavgarh National Park.

UNESCO World Heritage Site: Fatehpur Sikri is a abandoned city of Moughals, came into existence during reign of Akbar in 16th century. It remains capital of Mughal dynasty for 10 years. Jama Masjid Mosque in Fatehpuri Sikri is the largest one in world. With the grace of Muslim sufi saint Salim Chisti who resides the small village called Sikri, close to Agra. It is about 26 miles from Agra city

Day 04: Bandhavgarh

On reaching Umaria Railway Station in early morning, transfer from station to Resort in Bandhavgarh (37kms/45mins). Go for evening park safari of Bandhavgarh National Park.

Bandhavgarh National Park is known specially for good tiger-sighting in India. In Tala range of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, density of tigers is highest in India. It was the private hunting preserve before 1968 of Royal family of Rewa. Bandhavgarh forest had witnessed many white tigers in past like in 1915, 1948, 1951 etc. Fort at the height of 811 mts high hillock is another important place to visit in Bandhavgarh game drive. Here one can find ancient temples, fort, man-made ponds, statues, caves, scripts and best view for bird photography. Important area inside Bandhavgarh are : Chakradhara, Sidhh-baba, Andheyari jheria (Andheyari=dark & Jheriya=cluster of trees), Charger's point, Shesh Shaiya, Sita Mandap, Gopalpur pond etc. Sita and Charger were the most photographed tiger couples in the world.

Day 05: Bandhavgarh

Do both morning drives of Bandhavgarh Tiger reserve. After morning park safari, return back to resort and take lunch. After lunch get ready for visit to “Bandhavgarh fort”. Overnight at resort.

Visit to Bandhavgarh fort is a special park safari dedicated to visit hill-top on which fort and other historical monuments are located. Its charges are comparatively higher than usual game drives and can be done only through good quality 4-wheel driven vehicles only. Here one can find photographic points for bird-photography, learn about historical man-made caves, rock-cut shelters, Bandhavdheesh temple, carved statues of hindu god & goddesses, man-made ponds etc. View from hill-top is like a sprawling green nature over the area visible from human eyes.

Day 06: Bandhavgarh – Kanha

Do morning park safari of Bandhavgarh. Later after lunch, proceed for Kanha National Park (255 kms/06:00hrs). Route from Bandhavgarh to Kanha offers close view of countryside villages, green fields, farmers working in field, herds of cattle, fossil-park, rivers, streams etc. Reach Kanha in dusk. Overnight at resort in Kanha.

Kanha National Park is among one of the most well maintained Tiger Reserves of INDIA. It is among first 9 National Parks, included in Project Tiger at the time of its inception. Favorite wildlife attractions of Kanha are Hardground Swamp Deer (Barasingha), Tigers, Leopards, Indian Gaurs (Bison), Wild Dogs (Dholes), rarely seen Mouse Deers etc. Their are many places to visit inside Kanha like Bamni Dadar, Sonf meadows, Sillari Pond, Lapsi Kabar, Naag Bahera, Shravan Taal, Shravan Chita, Dashrath Machaan, Bison road, Kanha Museum etc.

Day 07: Kanha National Park

Take morning and evening game drives of Kanha Tiger reserve. On every park safari, we will come across some new secrets of flora & fauna of Kanha Forest. Overnight stay at resort in Kanha.

Day 08: Kanha National Park

Enjoy both morning and evening game drives of Tiger reserve. While park safari do not pre-occupied your mind with some specific animal sighting because wildlife is driven by their own and on every step some new surprise/s will be waiting for you. Overnight at resort.

Day 09: Kanha - Jabalpur - Delhi

On early morning, sum-up your wildlife experience, pack-up your luggage, proceed for Jabalpur Airport to board flight for Delhi. On reaching Delhi, transfer to nice hotel close to Airport for refreshments and spent time in leisure. Later, move to Delhi International Airport to board flight back to home.

While traveling back, visitors often keep thinking about their game drive experiences, wildlife scenes, their resorts, tour guides and also evaluate about the things they have missed in their life before this visit. It often makes us realize how far human society have traveled away from nature and its roots.
