Munnar Travel Guide

Munnar is a delightful hill resort in the Idduki district of Kerala. The town derives its name from the Malayalam words munu meaning 3 and aaru meaning river. Landlocked by five jungles, the town remains cold and wet for most of the year. It is also widely known for its tea plantations, towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities that make it a very important tourist destination in South India tours.
