Ranakpur is a village in Rajasthan that was named after Rana Kumbha. It is widely known for some of the elegantly and meticulously carved Jain temples in amber stone. An important Jain pilgrimage place, Ranakpur is one of the five pious places in Rajasthan known for the exceptional beauty of the Jain temples. The Jain temples were constructed here in AD 1439 on the mountain ranges of Pali district, which is located at a distance of 39 kilometers from the Phalna railway station. Lush greenery and blue waters of the streams mark the glory of Ranakpur.
