Agra, a must see for those on North India Luxury tours, is home to the Taj Mahal, the eternal emblem of love, built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. How to reach Agra:

By Road: Both public and private buses run from Agra to different cities like Chandigarh, Lucknow, Jhansi, Mathura, Delhi, Kanpur, Varanasi, Chitrakoot, etc. For local transport these are buses and luxury taxis as well as cycle rickshaws, horse-carts and auto-rickshaws.

By Rail: The most important railway station is Agra Cantonment. Expresses and super-fast trains run from here to cities like Varanasi, Mumbai, Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow and Kolkata.

By Air: The Kheria airport is at a distance of 6 km from the heart of the city. Both public and private carriers fly from here to major cities like Delhi, Varanasi, Mumbai, Khajuraho and Bangalore.
